Sinus-Plex Herbal Remedy 200ml

Sinus-Plex Herbal Remedy is an Australian-made liquid herbal medicine for symptoms associated with hayfever, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, common colds and flu. It is traditionally used in Western Herbal Medicine as a decongestant and expectorant, and to soothe irritated tissues.

Each 5 mL contains liquid extracts of eyebright, baical skullcap, liquorice, elder flower and garlic. Peppermint and aniseed essential oils add to its distinctive herbal profile. The 200 mL bottle can be diluted with water, fruit juice or another fluid if needed.

• Adults: Take 5–10 mL two or three times daily.
• Children: For ages 3–12, take 1–5 mL two or three times daily.
• Use period: Use for up to six weeks, followed by a significant treatment break.
• Storage: Shake well before use and store below 30°C.

Do not give to children under two years without medical advice. The formula contains 28% ethanol. Avoid use with digoxin, diuretics, laxatives, cardiac glycosides, anticoagulants, protease inhibitors, antihypertensive agents or potassium-depleting medicines. Use caution before or after surgery, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and with diabetes. If symptoms persist, including coughing, speak with your healthcare practitioner.

INGREDIENTS:

Each 5mL contains liquid extracts:

Eyebright herb, Euphrasia officinalis 1mL, equiv. dry 1g

Baical Skullcap root, Scutellaria baicalensis 500 microlitres, equiv. dry 500mg

Liquorice root, Glycyrrhiza glabra 1.25mL, equiv. dry 1.25g

Elder flower, Sambucus nigra 1mL, equiv. dry 1g

Garlic bulb, Allium sativum 200 microliters, equiv. fresh100mg.

Also contains water, ethanol, glycerol, aniseed essential oil and peppermint essential oil.

DOSAGE:

Adults:

5-10mL two or three times a day.

Children:

3-12 years: 1-5mL two or three times a day.

Not to be used in children under 2 years of age without medical advice.

Up to a maximum of six weeks treatment. Allow significant treatment breaks before continuing.

Shake bottle well before use. Can be diluted with water, fruit juice or other fluids if necessary and consumed immediately.

Interactions:

Contra-indicated with concomitant use of digoxin, diuretics, laxatives, cardiac glycosides anti-coagulant drugs, protease inhibitors, anti-hypertensive agents and potassium-depleting drugs.
