The included globe is specially made for the small fittings used in Himalayan salt and selenite lamps. It is fragile, so screw it tightly into the fitting and avoid moving the lamp while it is switched on.
Salt lamps are designed to remain on continuously. Switching the lamp on and off, or exposing it to power surges, can shorten the globe’s life. With proper care, the globe can last for months.
