Living Essences of Australia Pet Calm is a 125 ml mist intended for animals experiencing stress, including during car travel. It is also described for emotional stress, fretful behaviour and anxiety.
The mist was originally designed for use with stressed and injured Australian wildlife. Its early use included joeys left in their mothers’ pouches after the mothers had died, often following a collision with a car or truck.
The product description focuses on the distress associated with separation from a mother’s pouch. For a joey, the pouch acts as an external womb, making separation a significant source of stress. The mist is suited to situations where animals may experience this type of emotional strain, as well as stressful journeys by car.
